Julietta Sichel of 8Heads Productions was selected for the Spotlight of the Cannes Producers Network. On April 7th 2025, the Cannes Market has announced the news that on the morning of 16 May, the Czech Audiovisual Fund (Státní fond kinematografie) will host the hashtag#ProducersNetwork Breakfast Meeting, showcasing five of the most promising producers in the Czech Republic and their latest projects – with Julietta Sichel of 8Heads Productions being one of them.

The Czech Audiovisual Fund is the main public body for film and audiovisual support and plays a vital role in championing local talent and driving the country’s growing international presence in cinema. From financing to production incentives and global promotion, their support helps Czech stories reach the world.

Julietta and 8Heads Productions focus on international co-productions, films by emerging filmmakers, and high-quality content for children and youth. “When selecting my projects, I draw on nearly 30 years of experience in the film industry — combining strategic insight with a strong sense for stories that resonate across borders and generations. And I am very happy to be among the five most promising Czech producers to represent our new Audiovisual Fund in Cannes“, says Julietta Sichel.
