Dan Radu Mihai

After a decade immersed in the worlds of advertising and publishing, Radu embarked on a daring journey to pursue his first dream: to become a film director. In 2009, he earned his degree in Film and TV directing with a specialization from the Faculty of Cinema and Television at the Media University in Bucharest. Since then, Radu has helmed a variety of projects, ranging from short films to documentaries and commercials. His fiction shorts have garnered acclaim at over 20 international festivals, including Clermont-Ferrand, Vila do Conde, Busan, Vilnius, and Cairo.

Since 2018, Radu has been deeply engaged in an ambitious endeavor to bring the history of housing policies in Bucharest to life through film and new media. This multifaceted project has seen him direct a web-series, craft a documentary film, and conceive the framework for an augmented reality application, offering access to the historical narrative of Bucharest's parcels. Beyond the realm of filmmaking, Radu infuses his passion for storytelling into various artistic pursuits. He is the visionary behind Mocapart, a digital art gallery showcasing captivating collections crafted through motion capture technology. As the creator and one of the developers, Radu curates and presents immersive digital art experiences driven by narrative depth.
